Academic Clinical Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Academic Clinical Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This is a fixed-term post for 4 years or until CCT/CCST is reached, whichever is sooner.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake specialist clinical training and research or education/training, with a focus on building a strong research portfolio in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Contribute to the supervision of Academic Clinical Fellows and PhD students, providing academic mentoring and advice for colleagues working in the NHS.
- Be actively involved in the postgraduate teaching programme and work collaboratively with colleagues to build a strong research portfolio in WMS, UHCW and the wider University.
- Hold Honorary Contracts with the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) or other NHS Trust relevant to their training needs.
- Be medically qualified, ST3 and above, with full GMC registration.
- Hold an NTN, having undertaken some training at Specialty Registrar level.
- Have evidence of academic achievement, with publications in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The successful candidate will be employed by the University of Warwick and will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. The post is ideally suited to individuals wishing to build an academic career, and in particular those who have already undertaken research and who now wish to continue undertaking research whilst pursuing further training.
