Linen Porter

We are seeking a skilled Linen Porter to join our Housekeeping team at The Lygon Arms Hotel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our bedrooms and public areas.

1. Ensure the daily cleaning of back corridors and staircases, and maintain linen stocks to the highest standards.
2. Assist Housekeeping Assistants with daily tasks, including deep cleaning of rooms, mini bars, and air-conditioning units.
3. Take ownership of laundry duties, restocking monthly items for rooms, and assisting General Assistants with heavy loads.
4. Report any maintenance issues and use initiative to resolve them.
5. Understand and execute the company's policies and procedures with respect to privacy, confidentiality, and data protection.
6. Be fully aware of the Hotel's Fire Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations.

We are looking for an individual with experience in working in a 4* or 5* hotel restaurant, who has a keen eye for detail, organisational skills, and confident communication skills. You will be a team player who is flexible and able to work well under pressure.
