Position: Special Needs Support Assistant


Astro Education is in search of a qualified Special Needs Support Assistant to provide assistance in an educational setting.

This role focuses on offering individualized support to a Year 1 pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), specifically addressing the requirements associated with Autism. The successful candidate will implement strategies outside the conventional curriculum to cater to the unique needs outlined in the pupil's Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support to a student with SEN, ensuring their educational experience is tailored to their needs.
  • Collaborate with educators to develop and execute personalized learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supporting students with SEN, particularly those on the Autism spectrum.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to enhancing student learning.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK, including a valid visa and necessary background checks.
  • Current DBS registration or a willingness to obtain one.

Compensation:
Daily pay ranging from £85 to £95, dependent on experience, with weekly payments.

Employment Type:
Full-time, ongoing position.
