Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised family-centred programmes of care for infants, children, and young people.
  • Deliver care without supervision, taking responsibility as the prime care provider for a group of patients.
  • Participate in in-service training, preceptorship, and mentorship of junior staff, post-basic learners, and students.
  • Take charge of the ward or department as necessary in the absence of the Sister or Charge Nurse.
