We are Places for People Developments, a leading developer of innovative homes across the UK. As a Technical Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality designs, strategies, and specifications for our developments.

Working as part of a regional Technical Team in the South East, you will manage various aspects of design, specification, and implementation of specific developments. Your expertise will ensure that our developments meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Your Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the production of working drawings, details, and specifications from external consultants.
  • Ensure clashes on drawings and layouts are highlighted, specifications are adhered to, and build type and design are scrutinized.
  • Play a key role in monitoring and assisting in the progression of works on site.
  • Lead the design coordination and submission of detailed planning applications.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience as a Design Manager or Technical Manager.
  • Knowledge of various construction methods, building regulations, and standards.
  • Expertise in CDM regulations.
  • Experience and knowledge of the planning process and procedures.

This role is based in the South West, and due to the amount of travel involved, a driving license is required.
