Night Nurse

Location: Mold, Flintshire
Shift Pattern: Nights – 36 hours per week
This role requires an Enhanced DBS and must be eligible to register with CIW.
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Night Nurse to join our team at a state-of-the-art care home in Mold. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care that meets clinical standards and assists the Nurse Manager.
You will build strong relationships with the care team, external agencies, and multidisciplinary partners such as GPs, specialist nurses, and social services. Your comprehensive pre-admission assessments will ensure care is planned with resident input, and you will oversee and regularly review residents' care plans, updating as needed.
You will maintain accurate records in compliance with CIW and NMC guidelines, including medication management. As a Link Nurse in designated areas of care, you will supervise and support Health Care Assistants to ensure quality care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care that meets clinical standards and assists the Nurse Manager.
- Build strong relationships with the care team, external agencies, and multidisciplinary partners.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-admission assessments and ensure care is planned with resident input.
- Oversee and regularly review residents' care plans, updating as needed.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with CIW and NMC guidelines, including medication management.
- Act as a Link Nurse in designated areas of care.
- Supervise and support Health Care Assistants to ensure quality care delivery.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Active NMC registration and compliance with the NMC Code of Conduct.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and infection control regulations.
- Experience in leading, mentoring, and supervising staff, including conducting appraisals and identifying training needs.
- Ability to contribute to quality assurance processes and the development of care services.
