Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Fawkes & Reece (North) on a high-profile residential block in Leeds. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in supporting both pre-construction and post-construction stages, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Senior Project Surveyor and project teams to provide professional and cost-effective advice, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
  • Support in the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, cost estimates, and cost plans.
  • Assist in conducting feasibility studies and site visits to gather crucial data for accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective cost control and value engineering throughout projects.
  • Undertake accurate measurements, quantities, and valuations of work completed, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, valuations, and final accounts.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices, actively participating in continuing professional development opportunities.
