Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Jackie Kerr Recruitment Ltd. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing quality control processes to prevent defects and errors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Testing and Inspection: Conduct thorough testing and inspection of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to prevent defects and errors.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality control activities, including inspection reports and test results.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs to enhance quality-related skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality-related role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tools and Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and other quality-related software.
