Senior Modeller Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Modeller to join our team in the UK. As a Senior Modeller, you will play a key role in developing and executing multi-dimensional environmental water quality models to simulate the behaviour of reservoirs, lakes, and coastal waters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute numerical models using software such as MIKE, Delft3D, OpenFOAM, ADCIRC, and Telemac.
  • Collect and analyse data to inform model development and execution.
  • Present model results to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with a core of scientific and engineering experts to support clients from the water sector, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
Requirements:
  • Experience using numerical modelling software with proven applications in relevant fields.
  • Basic understanding of physico-chemical water quality and associated regulatory standards.
  • Experience with Linux, scripting languages, and MIKE ECO-lab is an advantage.
