Job Title: Programme Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the integration strategy and governance activities for the SATCOM Programme as part of the Skynet 6 initiative.

This role will play a critical part in managing the integration processes within the SATCOM Engineering Design Authority (SEDA) team, contributing to the successful delivery of a major public sector program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the SATCOM Programme's Integration Policy and Strategy documentation.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to various SATCOM projects regarding integration.
  • Oversee programme-level integration activities, ensuring effective governance across the programme and project areas.
  • Plan and manage integration assurance activities to ensure the system is thoroughly verified and validated.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing integration activities for large, complex systems.
  • Strong track record in developing integration strategies and ensuring governance is in place for their adoption.
  • Experience in managing assurance activities, particularly around system verification and validation.
  • Knowledge of the full Systems Engineering lifecycle (e.g., INCOSE, ISO/IEC).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to liaise across technical and non-technical teams.
Desirable:
  • UK Developed Vetting Clearance (DV) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Satellite and Military Communication Systems.
  • Familiarity with MOD practices such as KiD and GEAR.
  • Experience in Integrated Test, Evaluation, and Acceptance (ITEA) activities.
  • Prior experience integrating, testing, and accepting services in military domains (e.g., Land, Maritime).
