We are seeking a highly organized and professional Senior Administrator to join our HR & Compliance team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our Compliance & HR Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Compliance & HR Manager with day-to-day administration, including health and safety administration, chasing and updating site paperwork.
- Administer internal and external audits, collate files, and review paperwork.
- Update and review risk assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Manage CITB administration, ensuring grants and funding are applied for and training logged.
- Assist with completion and review of personal accident and incident report forms, including reporting to the appropriate organization if required.
- Book training for the team and chase required weekly/monthly paperwork.
- Administer plant equipment, including arranging calibration, servicing, and renewal of ESIS and LOLER documentation.
- Arrange servicing and repairs of fleet and plant equipment.
- Provide HR support, logging sickness and holiday, updating and chasing relevant paperwork.
- Carry out inductions for new starters, including set up of IT, PPE issue, and filing of paperwork.
- Create induction and training paperwork, recording annual leave requests.
- Support the facilities management team with administration processes.
- Organize corporate events.
- Answer phones and deal with general queries.
- Experience of compliance processes ideal - ISO 9001 or 14001, CHAS, SMAS, or FORS.
- Construction background preferable.
- Previous administration experience is essential.
- Excellent administration and communication skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Good decision maker.
- Highly organized and professional in approach with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to remain confidential at all times.
- Able to work under own initiative as well as in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels both internally and externally.
