The Opportunity: Field Service Engineer

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Eastbourne

The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. We're looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Attend customer locations to assess work priorities and ensure safe working practices.
  • Liaise with customers and controllers to provide clarity on expected work, timescales, and costs.
  • Identify root causes of equipment breakdowns and obtain necessary parts in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure all work meets engineering standards and Briggs/manufacturer specifications.
  • Carry out inspections and checks on own work to ensure equipment performs satisfactorily and is safe for customer use.
  • Identify additional work required on equipment and inform customers accordingly.
