Experienced Kitchen Designer Wanted for Prestigious Design Firm

We are a leading design-led business specializing in the creation of premium, high-end traditional kitchens in the UK. Our company is a dealer for a renowned German kitchen company, offering contemporary designs. We work on both residential and commercial projects, designing, supplying, and installing kitchens, as well as other fixed furniture such as wardrobes, TV units, and home offices.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and conscientious senior designer to join our team. As a senior designer, you will be responsible for engaging and guiding clients from initial enquiry through to project completion. This role requires an experienced and credible designer who can greet new enquiries with confidence, build rapport, and understand the client's needs and style.
Key Responsibilities:- Guide clients through the design process with high product knowledge to present the design and quotation while offering solutions on both design aesthetics and budget bracket to close the sale.
- Keep contact with the client while placing the order and prepare the installation files to pass over to the project manager.
- Visit sites to survey accurately and be able to design from architect plans.
- Build rapport by asking key questions to evaluate the client's needs, design ideas, and specific requirements.
- Plan, design, present, and sell inspirational designs relating to the client's brief and needs while offering your own creative design ideas to enthuse and inspire.
- Manage the database of enquiries and clients effectively with high organization and following the company sales pipeline.
- Work well within a team in a busy showroom environment.
- Strong planning and organizing skills.
- A desire for continuous personal and professional development.
- Degree in product design, architecture, interior design, or similar interiors-related course.
- Three years' experience working for a mid-to-high-end kitchen company.
- Computer software proficiency in Winner, 2020 Fusion, or similar kitchen design software.
- Driving license essential.
- Basic salary (based on experience).
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).
- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
