DC Personnel is seeking a skilled Laser Operative to work with a manufacturing company in the Leicester area.

The successful applicant will be responsible for operating a laser cutting machine to produce metal products as per engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate the laser machine
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Work to tight tolerances
  • Load and unload materials and work pieces
  • Inspect parts and perform quality checks

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in laser machine setting and operation
  • Experience in maintaining laser optics
  • Ability to understand and select laser cutting gases and parameters
  • Good math skills and ability to work from engineering drawings
  • Hard working and motivated individual with a keen eye for detail

This is a temp to perm position with a competitive hourly rate of up to £15 depending on experience.
