Job Overview

Heels & Brogues Group Limited is seeking to enhance its Commercial Gas Engineer division in the North East.

We are in search of a skilled Gas engineer fitter to operate across various client locations, performing commercial and industrial gas servicing and maintenance.

Position: Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: North East

Compensation: £42,000 - £45,000 (Based on experience)

Work Schedule:

Experience Required:

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Gas Engineer:

  • Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on commercial and industrial gas systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Install, repair, and maintain gas-related equipment and systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Adhere to safety codes, regulations, and standards during installation and maintenance, while maintaining precise documentation of all activities.
  • Engage professionally with clients, providing updates on maintenance tasks and addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding gas system performance.
  • Respond swiftly to emergency situations, such as gas leaks or system failures, implementing emergency response protocols to mitigate risks and ensure safety.

Qualifications:

  • Recognized gas qualification certificates.
  • Expertise in commercial gas installations.
  • Experience working on various sites.
