Class 2 Tramper Driver Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Tramper Driver to join our team at Recruit A Driver. This is a temp to perm contract opportunity with a Wakefield based client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver furniture to customers such as private care homes and Bupa
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Load and unload furniture from the wagon and room place
  • Some assembly of furniture may be required

Requirements:

  • Valid UK C license for a minimum of 12 months
  • Experience driving a Class 2 vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months
  • Clean driving licence, no endorsements accepted
  • In date Digital Tachograph Card
  • Up-to-date CPC Qualification Card
  • Ability to carry out manual handling and loading

Working Conditions:

  • Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
  • Start times: Usually 07.30, delivery requirement dependent

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate: £14.50
  • Night out allowance: £30 if in a sleeper cab, £22 in a hotel
