About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Manager to join our team at Cockenzieandportseton, a leading supplier of products used in infrastructure projects across the UK and overseas.

This is a newly created role where you will be responsible for spearheading the growth of our most popular brands, expanding market share and brand health. As a Brand Manager, you will play a strategic and hands-on role, covering all brand-related tasks from customer surveys to strategic brand development and launches.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Brand Development: Passionately defend, protect, and grow our brands both internally and externally with our customers and the market.
  • Brand Knowledge: Drive knowledge and learning of our brands through continuous professional development, e-learning, training, and thought leadership to ensure our brands are front of mind for specification.
  • Customer Expertise: Be the company expert in your customer personas and user journeys for each of your brands.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Work closely with Product owners and technical colleagues to ensure CCPI compliance and best practices are implemented and followed across all assets.
  • Brand Collateral: Produce collateral in line with brand guidelines and ensure the Brand Book and Design Guidance are always accurate and up to date.

We are looking for a candidate with a CIM certificate (level 3 or above) and 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role responsible for branding. Budget management experience is a pre-requisite, and knowledge of social media platforms is also required. You will be a strong communicator, confident enough to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider marketing team.

The role will be based in our Cannock office, with a flexible working arrangement of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home.
