Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR & Payroll Officer to join our team at Accountancy And Finance Personnel Limited. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR and Payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Arrange interviews, reference checks, right to work checks, employment contracts, and new starter paperwork.
  • Absence Management and Annual Leave: Manage employee absences, annual leave, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • HR Policy Maintenance: Update and maintain HR policies to ensure they are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports to provide insights into HR and Payroll data.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist in processing payroll for 300 monthly staff, including starters and leavers, holiday forms, SSP, SMP, and SPP forms.
  • Sick Record Management: Manage and update employee sick records.
  • Compliance and Submissions: Submit banking files and RTI submissions (Real-Time Information) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Benefits
  • Salary: Circa £28,000 per annum.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 05:00pm, with part-time hours and flexi hours available.
  • Holidays: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
