Job Summary
We are looking for a General Practitioner who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and is able to work flexibly to meet the needs of our practice. As a salaried GP, you will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, providing medical care to patients, and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to patients, including clinical sessions, clinical administration, and other duties as directed by the management team.
- Manage long-term conditions effectively and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with good practice, policy, and guidance.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to deliver seamless patient care.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with local and national guidelines.
- Participate in clinical governance processes and contribute to the development of clinical skills and abilities through CPD.
- Supervise and participate in the training of nursing staff and other members of the clinical team.
Person Specification
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and eligibility to practice in the UK independently.
- Experience of working as a General Practitioner, with a strong understanding of QOF and clinical audit.
- Ability to work flexibly and provide mentoring and support to other clinicians as needed.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to participate in clinical governance processes.
