We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Morgan Sindall Property Services. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial control, reporting, and commercial performance management of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with cash management, including timely application, certification, invoicing, and payment
- Administer subcontract accounts with care and attention to detail
- Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor to ensure accurate financial reporting and commercial performance management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Good working knowledge and understanding of measurement and valuation
- Strong budgeting and forecasting skills, with experience of CVR's and supplementary financial reports
- Knowledge of cyclical and planned maintenance, with experience of working on Decarbonisation/Retrofit projects
- Proficient in IT systems and packages, with a strong understanding of commercial software
