We are partnering with a Local Authority in Newry, Mourne and Down to assist with the appointment of a Cleansing Operative, on a 1.5-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake duties concerned with sweeping, collecting, and removing litter, dirt, dead animals, leaves, and weeds from public spaces, including roads, pavements, and shopping precincts.
- May be given opportunities to carry out refuse collection duties.
- May be given opportunities to drive Environmental Cleansing vehicles, subject to assessment and training.
- Responsible for using Radio Telecommunications equipment assigned to the vehicle, in accordance with Road Traffic Legislation.
Requirements:
- Available to work immediately or at short notice.
- Right to work in the U.K.
