Join Our Team as a Senior Survey Project Manager
As a Senior Survey Project Manager at PXGEO, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional survey support to our diverse clientele. Reporting directly to the AUV Manager, your expertise will significantly contribute to the development and refinement of our internal survey capabilities.
This role is primarily onshore, with the possibility of brief offshore assignments as required. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Offering ongoing survey assistance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluating scopes of work for survey and inspection prospects, and preparing method statements, specifications, technical qualifications, drawings, and other essential technical documentation for commercial proposals.
- Ensuring compliance of all survey-related activities with our internal QHSE protocols.
- Formulating project procedures and quality plans that align with our internal standards.
- Supporting the development of standard operating procedures, integration documentation processes, and quality management plans.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within surveying. Experience with AUV operations is advantageous.
- A Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, marine science, oceanography, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates with relevant certifications or specialized training in subsea surveying will also be considered.
- Proficiency in utilizing surveying instruments and technologies, including multibeam sonars, subsea positioning systems (USBL, LBL), side-scan sonars, ROV sensors, and subsea navigation software.
- Expertise in data processing and analysis, particularly with Eiva NaviSuite packages. Familiarity with managing survey data using GIS software and a solid understanding of networking and sensor integration is essential.
- A comprehensive understanding of subsea systems and infrastructure, including pipelines, cables, platforms, and other subsea structures. Proficiency in various subsea survey methodologies to effectively plan and execute surveys is crucial. Knowledge of AUV mission planning is a plus.
