About the Role:

Circet IRE & UK is seeking a skilled Civils Reinstatement Operative to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring sites are compliant and safe, and that all work is carried out to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure sites are compliant and safe, adhering to regulatory measures and company safety policies.
  • Deliver high-quality work in a timely manner, adopting a 'Right First Time' culture.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure safe collection and delivery of materials.
  • Operate company vehicles in accordance with the Highway Code.
  • Perform general drain-works operations, including fencing, bricking, paving, flagging, kerbing, and concreting.
  • Lay datmac and HRA materials.
  • Ensure worksites are left tidy, with all materials removed and returned to suitable skips.
  • Conduct and disseminate findings of Site-Specific Risk Assessments.
  • Accurately measure completed jobs and submit A55's in a timely manner.
  • Populate and submit Time sheets and Measure sheets daily.
  • Participate in the standby out-of-hours working rota.

Health and Safety Obligations:

  • Fully understand and implement the company safety policy and procedures.
  • Ensure all tasks are delivered safely, with quality and on time.
  • Drive compliance to regulatory measures and company policies.
  • Ensure sites are set up according to GSOPs, HAUC spec, and NRSWA, with full compliance to LN550.
  • Comply with all training requirements and development.

Requirements:

  • Experience pulling plant trailers.
  • Hold a CSR and CPC certification.
  • Flexible working required.
  • Reinstating/tarmac experience.
  • HGV Class 1 driver/labourer.
  • Street works/SLG card.
  • Experience working in a 3-man gang/crew.
  • Utility/quarry knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight timescales.
  • A can-do attitude and approach to daily tasks.
  • Experience working in the Telecom/Utility Industry.
  • Proficiency in electronic workflow systems.
