Job Title: Private Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced Private Tax Manager to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a key member of our tax advisory team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tax advice to clients and managing a dynamic team within the tax department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert tax advice to clients on a range of tax-related matters.
  • Manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the wider organisation and neighbouring legal practices to deliver tax advisory services.
  • Nurture and build strong relationships with clients, understanding their tax needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising clients on the impact of these changes.
  • Contribute to business development activities to attract new clients and grow the tax advisory business.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Relevant academic qualification in tax or accounting, such as ATT, ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
  • Strong technical knowledge in tax advisory services, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality tax advice.
  • Experience in team management, with a proven ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Awareness of the latest tax laws and regulations, with the ability to advise clients on the impact of these changes.
  • Experience in UK accountancy and tax practice, with a strong understanding of the tax landscape.

  • A competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
