Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Warrington

Pay: £80 - £90 per day

Connex Education is working with a KS5 setting who are looking for SEND staff to work within their specialist provision. They are seeking suitably qualified and experienced staff who have U.K based experience working with children with a range of SEN needs, including Severe Learning Needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who have previously worked in Supported Living or as a Residential worker. The successful candidate will support students with their educational journey and provide a safe space for all students to reach their full potential. Some students will require assistance with eating, be non-verbal, and need intimate care.

Assignment Details

This SEND Teaching Assistant role is due to start ASAP.

Person Specification
  • Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs, either in a UK school or a similar UK based setting
  • You must have a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one
  • Level 2 or 3 in relevant childcare subject would be an advantage
