Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor

Lightfoots LLP Solicitors is a leading law firm with a strong reputation for excellence in commercial property law. We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on commercial real estate matters, including secured lending, sales and purchases, estate development, leases, and options.
  • Handle and draft leases, both inside and outside the 1954 Act, for landlords and tenants.
  • Advising on planning issues and ancillary documents.
  • Preparation of contract packs with supporting documents.
  • Advising on secured lending transactions.
  • Handling telecommunication and other utility agreements.
  • Title investigations.
  • Advising on ancillary deeds, such as Deeds of Easement and Deeds of Variation.
  • Liaising with clients, agents, borrowers, asset managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Dealing with post-completion issues and ensuring accurate completion.
  • Attend marketing meetings to raise the Firm's profile and specific practice.
  • Using case management systems on a day-to-day basis.
  • Handle client billing and ensure accurate and timely billing.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in advising developers, occupiers, estates, private companies, and other landowners.
  • Experience in commercial property work, particularly Landlord and Tenant 1954 Act work.
  • Able to work under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proactive with commercial and financial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills at all levels and a true team ethos.
