Future Build Recruitment is partnering with a leading residential contractor to find a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial aspects of new build residential projects in Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cost management, procurement, and contracts to ensure projects stay on budget and meet quality standards.
- Manage tendering, negotiate with subcontractors/suppliers, and ensure value for the company.
- Prepare interim valuations, monitor cash flow, and manage timely payments.
- Handle variations, contractual disputes, and administer contracts per relevant terms.
- Produce cost reports, forecasts, and final accounts, updating management regularly.
- Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential construction and new build projects.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC), cost management software, and negotiation skills.
