Job Title: Communications Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Executive to join our team at the Victims and Survivors Service. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communications strategies to engage with stakeholders and promote our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a comprehensive communications strategy to raise awareness of our services and engage with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement internal communications plans to ensure effective communication across the organization.
  • Manage and maintain our online presence, including our website and social media channels.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote our services through media coverage and other external communications channels.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the media, government agencies, and other external partners.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to senior management on communications-related matters.
Requirements:
  • A degree-level qualification in a communications-related subject, such as public relations, marketing, or journalism.
  • At least three years' experience in a communications role, preferably in a similar sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective communications strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote our services.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
