Key Responsibilities:
As a SEND Casework Team Leader, you will oversee a team of EHC Coordinators responsible for conducting Education, Health, and Care Annual Reviews for school-aged children.

Your team will work collaboratively with professionals from education, health, and care sectors to develop and implement plans in partnership with families.

You will guide your team in creating person-centered Education Health and Care plans, ensuring exceptional communication and adherence to quality standards. Monitoring team performance and data will be crucial to meet statutory deadlines.

Your role will include providing leadership and supervision to ensure all team members fulfill their statutory SEND responsibilities and contribute to achieving service targets and developmental goals. You will also facilitate ongoing professional growth through training, induction, and performance management.

You will strive to cultivate and enhance professional relationships with educational institutions and parents regarding EHC assessments and plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

In-depth knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice, and SEND Regulations 2014. Proven experience in staff management and delivering high-quality service outcomes is highly desirable. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel to various work locations and schools is required. A degree or substantial experience in the education sector is preferred. Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining exceptional organizational skills.
