Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Estate Managers in handling various property-related tasks, including lease management, site acquisitions, disposals, alterations, landlord approvals, and financial transaction oversight.
  • Work collaboratively with the Estates and Planning Team and other departments to deliver estate management services that align with Veolia's operational objectives.
  • Provide property-related advice for budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic planning under the guidance of the Estate Manager.
  • Assist in managing expenses across the property portfolio, including rent, business rates, and service charges, while identifying potential cost-saving measures.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to estate management activities.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, legal advisors, consultants, and vendors to support estate management initiatives.
  • Assist the Head of Estates and Planning, as well as Planning and Estates Managers, on various matters as needed.

Qualifications:

An interest in pursuing a career in the property and development sector is essential. Ideally, candidates should have experience working within a small team, managing databases, handling financial information, and liaising with various departments.

A Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management or a related field (such as Geography, Environmental Sciences, or Surveying) is preferred, along with a willingness to develop professionally through training, further education, and on-the-job learning from qualified team members.
