The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team in the Exeter office. As a key member of our construction consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake refurbishment projects ranging from £50,000 to £2,000,000
  • Oversee traditional and Design & Build (D&B) projects, including new builds and refurbishments
  • Excel in client management to ensure project success
  • Efficiently handle contract administration responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive tender packages
  • Conduct building surveys to support project requirements
  • Lead by example and provide valuable assistance to junior team members
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with recent construction consultancy experience, as well as:

  • MRICS or willingness to work towards Chartered status
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and a basic understanding of professional services
  • Strong proficiency in IT tools, including Word, Excel, and email
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational abilities for prioritising work and meeting deadlines
  • Flexibility with a positive approach
  • Impressive client-facing skills, personable, and a keen sense of commercial awareness
