Job Description

Livewell Southwest CIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Children's Mental Health Service Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of accessible services for children, young people, and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Management: Provide day-to-day management responsibility for the Infant and Early Help Pathway, ensuring the effective delivery of contracted activity.
  2. Risk Management: Ensure completion of Risk Assessments and contribute to risk management plans.
  3. Team Development: Assess and determine the development/training needs of the team and contribute to the Continued Professional Development (CPD) training Programme.
  4. Clinical Supervision: Ensure professional registration requirements are continually met and arrange clinical supervision on a minimum monthly basis.
  5. Team Management: Lead and operationally manage a team of staff ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and external regulations.
  6. Staff Management: Manage team members in line with Livewell Southwest HR Policies.
  7. Supervision Arrangements: Ensure implementation of appropriate supervision arrangements for all staff.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following experience and qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience in line management responsibility for one or more multidisciplinary teams, including work with children, young people, and their families experiencing mental health problems.
  • Post-qualifying experience of clinical assessment, evaluation, care planning, and risk management in work with those experiencing mental health problems.
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision to professionals working with children and young people experiencing mental health problems.
