Job Summary

Kier Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Design Engineer to join our Transportation team in Exeter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of projects related to highway drainage, water utilities, and flood management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of technically challenging projects, ensuring compliance with the latest design standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate and prioritize tasks and resources to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Support the development of fee estimates and project programs, and monitor project delivery to ensure timely completion.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Design Team, providing guidance and support to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification and experience.
  • Membership with a relevant engineering body.
  • CSCS card.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
