About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Hobbycraft. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the management team and driving sales, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee the smooth operation of our stores, including merchandising, goods in, and warehouse operations.
    • Ensure accurate handling of cash, credit/debit cards, and gift card transactions.
  • Team Management
    • Support and coach new colleagues to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
    • Coordinate the workload of colleagues to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, answering customer enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year's previous retail experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Passion for crafting and a desire to inspire others.
  • Ability to learn and share expertise of products to meet customer needs.
  • High levels of enthusiasm, drive, and motivation.
  • Confident and clear communication skills.
