Senior Paralegal Opportunity in Exeter

TSR Legal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join its Litigation Department in Exeter. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the department's growth and development, managing a varied caseload, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality legal services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist on a range of litigation files, including personal injury, contentious probate, landlord and tenant disputes, property matters, and debt collection
  • Attend meetings and liaise with Counsel to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Prepare for mediation, hearings, and trials, utilizing strong research and analytical skills
  • Draft witness statements and prepare documents, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Undertake research and investigations, applying knowledge of compliance standards and Lexcel
  • Time-record accurately, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Liaise with clients, providing exceptional customer service and relationship management
  • Perform filing and administrative tasks as required, ensuring efficient workflow and team support
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar litigation role, with a strong understanding of commercial and property disputes
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, with a focus on law or a related field
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience with case management software and a strong understanding of compliance standards
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
