Job Description

Job Title: Water Treatment Specialist

Company: Guardian Water Treatment

Location: Essex and surrounding area

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum dependent upon experience, plus overtime and company vehicle

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, with flexibility required

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Water Treatment Specialist to join our team. As a leading provider of water treatment solutions, we are committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct water sampling and temperature monitoring to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Perform descaling of shower heads and hoses to maintain water quality.
  • Carry out TMV servicing to ensure the safety of our clients' water systems.
  • Conduct tank cleans and inspections to identify any potential issues.
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain cooling towers to prevent the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms.
  • Perform endoscopic inspections of calorifiers to identify any potential issues.
  • Carry out mains injection pipework chlorination works to ensure the safety of our clients' water systems.

Requirements:

  • Full Driving License to travel to client sites as required.
  • Previous experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer.
  • Experience in acid descaling of boilers, towers, and condensers is desirable.
  • You will also need experience of ACoP L8 (Legionnaires) and water safety standards.
  • You will work within the guidance provided by HSG 274, water system monitoring and sampling including associated company documents and guidance.
  • Confined space trained (advantageous).
