Job Summary

Talent Finder is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Manager to join our team. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our retail operations, including sales, customer service, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and improve customer engagement.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, including ordering and receiving stock, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Manage cash handling and banking procedures, including reconciling EPOS and banking transactions.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns to raise the profile of our shop and organization in the local community.
  • Manage and maintain the shop's appearance, including merchandising and visual displays.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve sales and customer service, and make recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer service excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of sales staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and sales growth.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, customer service, and stock management.
