About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Kier Group. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and documentation of commissioning activities on projects and programs of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning Planning and Execution: Develop and implement commissioning plans in collaboration with client commissioning representatives, ensuring that all commissioning activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Lead and document commissioning meetings, ensure that commissioning documentation is completed and available on the Common Data Environment, and produce concise reports as deliverables for the commissioning process.
  • Reliability and Performance Testing: Lead the reliability and performance testing stage of the project, including the production and acceptance of inspections and test plans.
  • Post-Completion Defects: Assist the Project Manager in the resolution of post-completion defects.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in the successful and safe commissioning of complex projects within the water industry.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant/equipment.
  • Skills: Ability to generate concise reports as deliverables for the commissioning process, and hold a CSCS or ECS card in an appropriate discipline.
