Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our team at Recruit Wealth Ltd. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Wealth Planning Advisers in providing exceptional financial planning services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pre-approval documentation, ensuring recommendations are researched and signed off by Compliance, Technical, and the Investment Team where necessary.
- Carry out relevant financial calculations on behalf of the advisers, including capital gains tax and annual allowance.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Confidently use Microsoft Office products and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Develop a good working knowledge of the financial services industry and suitability reports.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of financial products and services.
- Conduct research to assess advice, including tax calculations (e.g., capital gains tax, inheritance tax, chargeable events on life assurance products).
- Work within defined service standards and procedures, with a working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, particularly around suitability and delivery of advice.
