Job Overview: Technical Auditor

Location: Nuneaton, UK

Compensation: £12.65/hour

Team Insights:

As a part of the Food Technical Auditing team at HelloFresh, your primary responsibility will be to uphold Food Safety standards. This encompasses ensuring that the safety, quality, and legality of our products are consistently maintained. You will collaborate with the Food Technical Lead to implement enhancements and initiatives aimed at fostering a robust food safety culture.

Under the guidance of our Team Leaders, you will be tasked with maintaining the highest product standards while achieving business KPIs. Comprehensive training will be provided by our dedicated onsite Training Teams.

You are expected to engage with HelloFresh on all health and safety matters, taking reasonable care of your own health and safety as well as that of others who may be impacted by your work activities. Immediate reporting of incidents and proactive communication of health and safety concerns to your Line Manager is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily temperature assessments Assist with weekly box evaluations as required Perform weekly calibration checks on scales and probes Execute foreign body inspections (Weekly, Monthly, Annually) Audit production processes, documentation, and monitor hygiene standards and good operating practices Accurately maintain all quality and food safety records, ensuring proper filing and distribution of documentation Serve as a contact point for food safety inquiries Provide support to managers and supervisors on food safety matters across operations Aid in operational food safety and quality training to meet site standards Escalate food safety and quality issues to the Operational teams and advise on correct procedures

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience in the food industry is advantageous, particularly in a Technical Function. Prior experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions for identified non-conformances. Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Strong resilience and a willingness to learn and grow over time. An inquisitive nature, with a desire to make a positive impact and derive satisfaction from coaching and enabling others.

Times: 06:30 AM - 18:30 PM - 42 Hours per week
