Role Overview
Catering Support Assistants play a crucial role in delivering a professional, responsive, and efficient catering service for students, staff, and visitors. This includes ensuring that food production is presented, served, and replenished to an exceptional standard, adhering to established operating procedures.
The successful candidate will also assist with the daily cleaning of kitchen and catering equipment, as well as the receipt and storage of goods, including checking and signing for deliveries.
Team members in the catering department are expected to adopt a flexible approach to their work and undertake any or all of the tasks outlined, regardless of their assigned shift.
The successful candidate will be required to work any 5 days out of 7, which may include evenings and weekends. Typical working hours range from early morning to late evening.
This role involves a degree of physical manual handling, including lifting and transporting catering equipment. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly across all catering areas.

Candidate Requirements
