Job Summary

Moog is seeking a highly skilled Plating Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the introduction of new processes and improving existing ones within our plating shop. You will work closely with our Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure that our products are manufactured to the highest quality standards, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Establish and maintain control plans for each process to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Work with our Quality team to identify and resolve process-related issues.
  • Support the training and development of other team members to ensure a high level of skill and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and processes to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with our Supply Chain team to source and procure materials and equipment.
  • Monitor and control manufacturing costs to ensure they are within budget.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive business growth and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a production environment, preferably in a plating or coating role.
  • Strong knowledge of plating processes and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
