- Configure and customize integration engines, middleware, and APIs to meet project requirements.
- Lead integration testing efforts, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to technical problems.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on software integration within the healthcare industry, preferably within the NHS.
- In-depth knowledge of major integration engines (e.g., Health Connect, Iris, Rhapsody, Mirth) and other middleware technologies.
- Familiarity with NHS systems, standards, and protocols, such as HL7, FHIR, and NHS Digital's APIs.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
- Any experience of coding, using a mixture of JavaScript, Java, React or C# is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
