We are in search of a qualified individual to take on the role of Global IT Security Solutions Architect within the Secure Networking team at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). This position involves engaging in Security Engineering, Architecture, and Automation across BCG's international network to enhance and support advancements based on emerging trends.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies for the future of BCG's network security.
- Design and create solutions that address the security requirements of our organization.
- Tackle security challenges associated with Generative AI, focusing on access and encryption for storage solutions such as Vector DB and Graph DB.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise and Security Architecture teams to comprehend their security needs and devise appropriate solutions.
- Conduct security design and application architecture evaluations utilizing risk assessment and threat modeling techniques.
- Provide secure design patterns and secure coding guidance across various programming languages and platforms, including APIs, hybrid multi-region cloud environments, and containers.
- Implement Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps methodologies and tools.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance by managing security technologies, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and secrets management systems.
- Work alongside solution architects and engineering teams to integrate security recommendations at the architectural level.
- Oversee projects, including technical planning, design specifications, vendor assessments, and reporting.
- Perform security evaluations of network designs and implementations.
- Operate within an Agile framework.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Approximately 10 years of experience in design, implementation, and consulting for distributed applications and security/compliance-related tasks.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and AI/ML or a related technology domain.
- At least 10 years of experience in security/compliance-related roles.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in network security engineering with large-scale global implementations.
- Proven expertise in network and cloud security architecture, design, and best practices for a globally distributed environment across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience in addressing security challenges in multi-tenant data pipelines.
- A strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and DNS.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Expertise in cloud security for platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of encryption technologies and their practical applications.
- The capability to conduct comprehensive security risk assessments and formulate mitigation strategies.
- Preferred certifications such as CISSP and other relevant security credentials.
