Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our esteemed team at CV Technical. This role is essential in maintaining the operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility.

Working Hours
Days: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Salary
£33,000 - £50,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure prompt and effective maintenance of all machinery.
  • Design and construct control panels.
  • Provide guidance and training to operators on machinery usage while monitoring production lines.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to minimize downtime.
  • Take ownership of maintenance scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively with team members.
  • Address and rectify malfunctions of machines and devices in a timely manner.
  • Work towards minimizing maintenance costs where feasible.
  • Identify and promptly rectify unsafe conditions.
  • Manage inventory of parts and consumables necessary for maintenance operations.
  • Offer support and advice to colleagues performing maintenance tasks.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills
  • A proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal staff and external suppliers.
  • A results-oriented mindset that encourages challenging the status quo.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide for machinery installation at client sites.
  • Experience with PLC systems.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
