About the Role

We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our Device Engineering Team in Liverpool, working on New Product Development projects within the R&D pillar of the Innovation function.

As an Electronics Engineer, you will work closely with partners to develop designs through the full product lifecycle, from component selection to delivering prototypes and technical solutions for innovation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electronic design solutions for new product development projects.
  • Collaborate with multifunctional counterparts to deliver fit-for-purpose propositions and ensure technical requirements are clearly understood.
  • Manage prototype design, iterative development, and debug/testing activities to validate concepts and mitigate risk.
  • Develop strong relationships with partners and suppliers to enable access to newest technologies and facilitate prototype production and scale-up to full production.
  • Support the technical project lead and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Practical experience in electro-mechanical prototype testing.
  • Schematic capture and PCB design for low-power applications.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong relationships with partners and suppliers.
