Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Security Officer to join our team at Thistles Shopping Centre in Stirling. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly duties as outlined in the site Assignment Instructions
- Conduct patrols covering all areas of the shopping mall and service yards to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Take an active role in emergency situations, including first aid and fire warden duties
- Oversee external contractor management to ensure safe working practices
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
- Good conflict management skills and high level of customer care awareness
- Familiarity with patrolling and monitoring from a loss prevention and health and safety perspective
- SIA Door Supervisor/Security Guard licence
