**Job Summary**

The RSK Group is seeking a skilled Driller Assistant to join our team in the UK. As a Driller Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our drilling operations, working closely with our Lead Drillers to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Driller in drilling boreholes on various sites across the UK, including inner-city and countryside locations.
  • Perform manual handling and moving of heavy items, as well as training in the use of site equipment and plant.
  • Undertake general labouring duties, such as erecting fences, general reinstatement, delivery of consumables, and collection of samples.
  • Learn the process and operation of drilling rigs, with opportunities for career progression and internal promotion.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring safety throughout the drilling process.

Requirements:

  • Full driving licence is essential for this role.
  • Flexibility to work in varying locations around the UK, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Previous manual work experience is desirable, as is previous drilling skills and/or experience.
  • A CSCS Card is desirable but not essential.
