About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Support Worker to join our team at a fantastic school that provides high-quality, individualised and small group learning for up to 60 pupils aged 7-19.

The successful candidate will provide outstanding support for students with additional needs, helping them to engage in their learning and develop their emotional wellbeing and equip key life skills.

About the School

Our school is based across 2 sites (Barnstaple and Bideford) and provides a unique learning environment for students with associated special educational needs and barriers to learning, including SEMH, ADHD, autism and aspergers.

We have a huge focus on social and emotional development and offer individualised timetables and opportunities for enrichment activities.

About You

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for making a positive difference to the lives of young people and who is able to remain calm and professional, especially when managing challenging behaviour.

Previous experience working with individuals with additional needs is essential, as is the ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
