Job Description

**Project Manager - Energy and Utilities**

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead on a number of schemes that encompass new Energy Centres and Heating Network Upgrades across the region.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare and manage project delivery plans and associated detailed programmes.
  • Ensure work is carried out within project requirements and timescales.
  • Act as a strong leader of SHEQ, ensuring accurate and legally compliant activity and reporting.
  • Induct all employees on site on the company's way of working.
  • Report areas of opportunity and risk that may impact on the business plan.
  • Lead the site management team and manage employee-related matters.
  • Manage project progress and ensure work is carried out to a high and safe standard.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum construction-related Level 7 qualification (NVQ) and/or professional membership.
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of projects from start to finish.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office programmes, including MS Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to control costs and delivery on quality in line with targets.
  • Efficient use of all staff and resources.
  • Accurate interpretation of Contract Documents, programmes, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • The ability to manage teams, including the supply chain, direct employees, and consultants.
  • Knowledge of Document Management Systems, BIM, etc.
  • Appropriate CSCS card.
  • SMSTS certificate.
  • Temporary works certificate desirable.
  • Valid driving licence.
